Install the Reskyt app on Shopify

Reskyt is installed on Shopify as a sales channel (“Reskyt - Aplicación Móvil”), not as a classic app from the Apps list.

You need store owner access, or permissions to install apps and edit the theme.

  1. Search for “Reskyt” in the Shopify App Store

From your store admin, go to Apps → Shopify App Store (or go directly to apps.shopify.com) and search for “Reskyt”. The first result should be Reskyt - Apps para eCommerce, developed by Reskyt.

  2. Open the app listing

Click “Reskyt - Apps para eCommerce” to open its listing, then the black button to start the installation.

If the app is not installed on your store yet, the button will say Install. If a previous installation already exists (for example in an account with several stores), it may say Open: the permissions flow that follows is the same in both cases.

  3. Grant the permissions

Shopify shows an Install app dialog with the permissions Reskyt needs in order to work. Review them and click Install to confirm.

If the app was already installed and Shopify needs to renew permissions, the same dialog appears as Update data access, with an Update button instead of Install. You accept it the same way.

  4. Choose a plan, if prompted

After accepting the permissions, Reskyt may ask you to choose a subscription plan before finishing the initial setup. Prices may vary.

This screen implies a recurring payment commitment: do not select anything without first confirming it with the person responsible for the store’s billing.

  5. Confirm that the app was installed

Reskyt appears in the admin side menu, under Sales channels, as Reskyt - Aplicación Móvil. When you open its page you will see the connection status and, in the Extensions section, whether the theme extension is active (right after installing it will show 0 active).

  6. Activate the Reskyt app embed in the theme

Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize on the active theme and, in the editor’s top bar, open the puzzle piece icon (App embeds).

Look for Reskyt attribution, under “Reskyt - Aplicación Móvil”, turn on the toggle (it is off by default) and click Save in the top right corner.

You will know it worked when the toggle stays on and the Save button becomes disabled, because there are no pending changes left.

  1. Search for “Reskyt” in the Shopify App Store.
  2. Open the Reskyt - Apps para eCommerce listing and click Install.
  3. Accept the permissions dialog.
  4. Choose a plan if Shopify asks for one (with an active subscription it should not appear; if it does, review and confirm the cost first).
  5. Check that the app appears under Sales channels.
  6. Activate the Reskyt attribution app embed in the theme editor and save.

Biometric login is a separate module and is not part of the standard Shopify module. It is added as additional project functionality. Shopify is the store engine supported by that module: when the saved credentials are retrieved, the module completes the sign-in.

If at any point the install button does not appear or the process stops, contact the Reskyt team.
