Monitoring

There are two monitoring layers with different owners: the platform layer, operated by Reskyt, and the app layer, which the customer configures with their own tools.

Platform monitoring

Reskyt monitors infrastructure and application with Amazon CloudWatch and New Relic, and operates on alerts defined in those tools.

CloudWatch covers the AWS infrastructure layer; New Relic provides observability over the behaviour of the services.

App monitoring

This is handled with modules that the customer enables on their app, whose data goes to their own account, not to Reskyt:

Firebase Crashlytics may be used for the detection, diagnosis and analysis of mobile app crashes when it is enabled. It is not necessarily enabled in every project.

Firebase Analytics measures events, screens and audiences.
